For the past few days, the global media has been distributing this false photo (left), picturing IDF soldiers abusing "innocent" Arabs, despite the fact that the photo has been edited to only show half of what's really happening.
The photo was changed to hide the truth: that these Palestinians were assaulting IDF soldiers and that the soldiers in this photo
were simply acting in self defense.

עניין של הסברה

יום אחרי הפיגוע באיתמר התקשרה אליי חברה שמתגוררת בניו יורק.
שלחתי לה יום לפני כן קישור מ-YNET שמספר על הפיגוע באיתמר, במסגרתו נרצחו הורים ושלושת ילדיהם מתחת לגיל 3 שנים, כולל תינוקת בת 3 חודשים. כתבתי לה באנגלית תמצית של המאמר. עם זאת, היא הייתה נסערת, כיוון שבתקשורת העולמית מדווחים על הארוע באיתמר בו נרצחו בני משפחת פוגל על ידי פועל תאילנדי על רקע עסקי - בגלל שהאבא היה חייב לו 10,000 שקלים.
היא רצתה שאעדכן אותה מהי הגרסה הנכונה - האם אכן מדובר בסכסוך כספי או בפיגוע, ברצח על רקע לאומני

הדבר הנו בהמשך לדיווח של ה-CNN לפיו, המשפחה לא יותר מנהרגה [לעומת נרצחה או נטבחה, עניין קטן של טרמינולוגיה], כאילו מדובר בלא יותר מתאונת דרכים. בהמשך הדיווח, לטענת צה"ל נמסר ש"מדובר בפיגוע", כאילו מדובר בחשד בלבד ולא כל האפשרויות נבדקו.
הדיווח ב-CNN הנו דיווח מגמתי. זהו נוסח מזלזל, במיוחד כשלא כל המידע מועבר. ה-BBC דיווח שהרצח בוצע על ידי פולש שנכנס לבית, קרי על ידי גנב שנתפס על חם כשנכנס באמצע הלילה כשהמשפחה לא הייתה אמורה להתעורר.
בנוסף, לא ציינו את הגילאים של הנרצחים, כולל העובדה שנרצחו 3 תינוקות, או פרטים מדוייקים, אלא התייחסו לנרצחים כמתיישבים או כמתנחלים בגדה המערבית - על פי הכתבה, פלסטינים הרגו חמישה מתנחלים בגדה המערבית. מדובר בעידון המקרה, כאילו הפשע הנתעב בוצע באמצע היום כשהקורבנות הם אנשים מבוגרים באמצע הפגנה לעיני כל בטעות ולא כטבח נוראי על תינוקות, כשהמשפחה ישנה.
הסברתי לה שזה לא יכול להיות שהמשפחה נרצחה על ידי עובד זר.
ראשית, במידה וזה היה נכון, אין הגיון בכך שהפועל יכנס לישוב כמו גנב באמצע הלילה וירצח את כל המשפחה - כולל את האישה ושלושה ילדים מתחת לגיל 3 כשהסכסוך היה עם הבעל. תגובה כזו צריכה לבוא מתוך כעס ולכן, אם הדבר היה נכון, הרצח היה מתבצע לאור יום בלי שגדר היישוב תזהה חדירה.
בנוסף, התינוקות לא היו נרצחים במקרה הזה מאחר והם לא יכולים להעיד על הרוצח. לפיכך, מדובר בטבח ולא בריב על כסף - לא ברצח שבא אחרי עימות במהלך יחסי העבודה.

יותר מזה, רק לקבלן מסודר מותר להעסיק עובדים זרים ואסור לעובד זר לפתוח עסק בארץ ולקבל היתר בניה. אישור העבודה שלו תלוי, למעשה, בכך שחברת קבלן בישראל אחראית להעסקתו ותהיה ערבה לו. דווקא בגלל שהדבר אינו חוקי, אין מצב שהפועל יסתכן באשרת העבודה שלו, יקח יוזמה ויעבוד כאן כקבלן. לכן, אין שום סיבה שההתנהלות הזו שנוגעת לגביה תתבצע ישירות מול הפועל התאילנדי ולא מול הקבלן שחתם על חוזה עם המשפחה, עובד מול האדריכל ומהנדס הבניין ואף יכול לפנות לבית המשפט להמשך התהליך.
מעבר לכך, הסינון בכניסה ליישוב מכוון נגד הערבים ולא נגד עובדים זרים שיכולים אפילו להשתכן בקרוואן ליד אתר הבניה בישוב.
פועלים זרים יכולים להיכנס דרך השער הראשי בלי בעיה. עם זאת, ערבים צריכים להיכנס בליווי מלווה חמוש בנשק בלבד ובשעות העבודה המקובלות.
אדם שנכנס ב-12 בלילה כמו גנב, ברור שהוא לא יהודי או עובד זר אלא פלסטיני עם מטרה לא כשרה.
אדם שרצח משפחה שלמה שהייתה עסוקה בלישון, ביניהם ילדים מתחת לגיל 3, ברור שביצע טבח ולא הסתכסך עם המעסיק שלו על כסף.


זוהי התוצאה של מערכת הסברה פרו פלסטינית משומנת.
אחד הדיווחים בתקשורת היה של איש מהרשות הפלסטינית שטען שזו הפעם הראשונה שתינוקות נפגעו ושלפי האיסלאם, קיים איסור חמור לכך.
כמה קל לשכוח את  שלהבת - אותה תינוקת שצלף / שוטר מהרשות הפלשתינית, ירה בה ופגע בראשה פגיעה ישירה וקטלנית.
גם במקרה הזה, בו מתרחש טבח נוראי בסכין, באמצע הלילה כשהמשפחה ישנה, מערכת ההסברה הפלסטינית המשומנת נחשפת בשיא כיעורה.
