Nothing but the truth (2008)

Nothing but the Truth is a drama film. The inspiration for the screenplay was the case of journalist Judith Miller, who in July 2005 was jailed for contempt of court for refusing to testify before a federal grand jury investigating a leak naming Valerie Plame as a covert CIA operative, but this was merely a starting point for what is primarily a fictional story.
In Washington, D.C., a female reporter faces a possible jail sentence for outing a CIA agent and refusing to reveal her source. Rachel Armstrong (Kate Beckinsale) is an ambitious reporter for the Capital Sun-Times. When she discovers fellow soccer mom Erica Van Doren (Vera Farmiga) is working as a covert operative for the CIA and recently returned from Venezuela, where she was investigating an assassination attempt on the President of the United States, she confronts her and requests confirmation. Erica refuses to cooperate, but Rachel has no doubts about the veracity of the report, and her story becomes front-page news with the support of editor Bonnie Benjamin (Angela Bassett) and Avril Aaronson (Noah Wyle), who serves as the newspaper's legal counselor.
Because revealing a covert operative's identity is a treasonous offence and because the individual who leaked the information to Rachel is a potential threat to national security, special Federal prosecutor Patton Dubois (Matt Dillon) convenes a grand jury and demands to know who her source is, information she refuses to divulge. High profile attorney Albert Burnside (Alan Alda), hired by the newspaper to defend Rachel, is certain his personal friendship with Judge Hall will facilitate matters and is shocked when his client is jailed for contempt of court.

Aretha Franklin - Think (feat. The Blues Brothers)

"Think"
(feat. Aretha Franklin)

You better think (think)
Think about what you're tryin' to do to me
Think (think-think) let your mind go
Let yourself be free

Let's go back - let's go back
A let's go way on to way back when
I didn't even know you
You couldn't a been too much more than ten (just a child)

I ain't no psychiatrist
I ain't no doctor with degrees
But it don't take too much I.Q.
To see what you're doing to me

You better think (think)
Think about what you're tryin' to do to me
Yeah, think (think-think)
Let your mind go, let yourself be free

Oh freedom (freedom)
Oh freedom
oh,freedom (yeah)

Oh freedom
Oh freedom (freedom)
oh freedom
Oh freedom

Oh ya got to have
Hey! think about it
You! think about it

There ain't nothin' you could ask
I could answer you with "I won't" (I won't)
But I was gonna change my mind
If you keep doin' things I don't (don't)

You better think (think)
Think about what you're tryin' ta do to me
(What you're tryin' to do to me)
Oh-oh-oh think (think)
Let your mind go, let yourself be free

People walk around everyday
Playin' games and takin' scores
Tryin' to make other people lose their mind
Well, be careful you don't lose yours

Ooh think (think)
Think about what you're tryin' to do to me
Woo-hoo, think (think)
Let your mind go, let yourself be free

You need me (need me)
And I need you (don't cha' know)
Without each other
There ain't nothin' either can do

Oooh yeah, think about it, baby
(What 'cha tryin' to do to me, think)
Better go baby, think about it right now

Yeah, right now (tell about - forgiveness)
Woo, right now (tell about - forgiveness)
Hey, right now (tell about - forgiveness)
I need to change your mind (think about it)
Baby, baby, baby
(Tell about it - forgiveness)
Woo, tell about it baby (tell about - forgiveness)
FADES-
Yeah, woo-hoo (tell about - forgiveness)
Tell about it baby, you think about it right now

Django Unchained (Looking For Freedom) Soundtrack: Freedom ~ Performed by Anthony Hamilton and Elayna Boynton Lyrics

Felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders...
Pressure to break or retreat at every turn
Facing the fear that the truth had discovered
...No telling how all this will work out
...But I've gone too far to go back now.
...I am looking for freedom, looking for freedom...
And to find it cost me everything I have...
Well I am looking for freedom, looking for freedom
...And to find it may take everything I have.
I know all too well it don't come easy...
The chains of the world they seem to move in tight...
I try to walk around it but stumbling's so familiar
Try to get up but the doubt is so strong
There's gotta be a weight in my bones
I'm looking for freedom, looking for freedom
And to find it, cost me everything I have
...Well I'm looking for freedom, I'm looking for freedom
...And to find it may take everything I have
Oh not giving up has always been hard, so hard...
But if I do things the easy way I won't get far.
Hmm, life hasn't been very kind to me lately, (well)...
But I suppose it's a push for moving on (oh yeah)
In time the sun's gonna shine on me nicely (one day yeah)
Something tells me good things are coming and I ain't gonna not believe.
...I am looking for freedom, looking for freedom...
And to find it, cost me everything I have...
Well I am looking for freedom, looking for freedom...
And to find it, may take everything I have.

The Corrs - Dreams

Now here we go again
You say you want your freedom
Well who I am to keep you down
It's only right that you should
Play the way you feel it
But listen carefully to the sound
Of your loneliness
Like a heartbeat, drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost
And what you had
And what you lost

[Chorus]

Thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing
Say women they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean, you'll know

Now here I go again, I see the crystal visions
I keep my visions to myself
It's only me
Who wants to wrap around your dreams and
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
Dreams of loneliness
Like a heartbeat, drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost
What you had
And what you lost

[Chorus]

Thunder only happens when it's raining
Players only love you when they're playing
Say women they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean, you'll know
